I was an Art History major in college and lived in Rome studying the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Photography for me became the perfect blend of history, love, and art. When I shoot film I feel like one of the painters I used to study. I truly feel as if I am participating in and continuing in the artistic tradition. I love interacting with my couples and preserving the love they have for one another. I love the idea that the photo I take will hang on their wall for their children and grandchildren to see. I believe in the material and the tangible. Photos should cover your walls, not fill up your hard drive.
